Hello

Doug and Marilyn married in 2005 and became a blended family of eight. Before marrying, they were just two friends who shared a mutual love for Jesus Christ. Douglas served 12 years in the US Air Force and afterward held executive positions in logistics while simultaneously serving at the local church. Marilyn resigned from her full-time job after 21 years and taught elementary school while serving at the local church and personally assisting the pastor. Their commitment to Jesus and each other has grown into God's call to birth Direct Message Ministries in September 2022.

The Parkers are credentialed ministers of the gospel and itinerant ministers who travel the nation to strengthen the local church. Their ministry has a heavy prophetic anointing and leans heavily into deliverance ministry and teaching. Doug and Marilyn are members of several networks. They are accountable to their local pastors at Destiny Church in Chester, Virginia, where they are the Pastors of Discipleship. They are also authorized to teach the Ministering Spiritual Gifts modules as certified by Christian International and are available for booking.
